Start with a bounded outcome
Choose a level, view set or element group and define what should change. A request such as “prepare this floor for documentation” becomes useful when it names the expected views, families, naming rules and review owner.

The useful question is not whether AI can change a Revit model. It is whether the proposed change is scoped, understandable and reviewable before it reaches production.

Revit production depends on levels, types, hosted elements, rooms, views and sheets. A good automation plan shows which relationships it will use and which elements it will affect, rather than hiding the reasoning behind a finished drawing.
Automation can propose dimensions, tags, views, sheets or QA corrections. A person should still inspect the proposed result, resolve ambiguous project intent and approve changes before execution.
Once a workflow works on a representative model, capture its templates, families, naming conventions and QA checks. That project knowledge is what makes the next run more consistent.
